During the next phases, men will learn and develop practical life skills, build community, restore broken relationships, and begin to assimilate back into the workforce working real jobs in the community. During the final months, we will help prepare each man individually for life outside of Restore Addiction Recovery, ensuring they have the necessary tools needed for lasting sobriety.

11

Month Transformation

Finding Lasting Change Through Jesus Christ

During the 11 Month Transformation, men will focus on their relationship with God and how their life decisions impact others. Learning to serve others will be a priority. In the final months, a Life Development Plan is formulated that emphasizes gainful employment and career development, healthy living and relationships, leadership, community involvement, and other important life skills necessary for long-term success. These 11 months are broken into 3 separate phases, each playing a unique role in the entire recovery process: Discovery, Application, and Launch.

The 11 months will include:

  • Transition into deeper aspects of recovery with continued 1-1 Counseling, Biblically-based teaching, and practical life coaching
  • A gradual transition into the work-place environment, working real jobs in the community starting bi-weekly and working up to 35-40 hours per week
  • A focus on restoring relationships with friends and family through phone calls, letters, and in-person visits
  • Group activities to promote positive relationships among the residents
  • Group learning classes including Finance, Computer Skills, Job Interviewing Skills, Psychical Training, and Guitar Lessons
  • Engaging in local church and community
  • Encouraging other men in the ministry and imparting wisdom to those in earlier phases of the program

At the end of the 11 Month Transformation:

Each man will work with our coordinators and Programming Director to complete their Life Development Plan. They will receive hands-on help  with legal and other financial obligations. They will work together to secure a well-paying job, safe place to live, and an ongoing support network to prepare for their life outside of Restore Addiction Recovery. Our goal is to set each man up for success as they begin their new life with a toolbox full of resources, continued accountability, and a strong support system.

Community Partner Program Details...
  • We have partnered with local companies who share our vision and provide real jobs for the men in the program with the intention of building work ethic, experience, and confidence
  • Once each men begins month 2, he will work every other week. Once he begins month 6, he will work every week (up to 40 hours per week). Jobs will begin at an entry-level position with the potential of being promoted into higher-paid positions
  • Through our Community Partner Program, the participants will contribute as much as 65% of the total operating cost of the program. The balance of the cost, however, requires the generous support of those whom God has called to financially partner with us
  • The men will save a portion of each paycheck so that when they graduate our 12-month program, they will leave with money in the bank
  • We believe this will teach the men responsibility and begin to restore dignity and self-respect. The men will also have opportunity to be promoted and seek employment in a setting that best suits their prior work experience and skill-sets

30

Day Foundation

Where Recovery Begins

Located on a beautiful, private property free from drugs, alcohol, and other distractions, we believe the 30 Day Foundation will foster a safe, welcoming environment where each man can experience unconditional love and acceptance. Here, the men will focus on rest, healing, and adjusting to our facility. The daily routine will be uniquely structured, with no outside contact permitted, to provide an opportunity for the men to focus solely on recovery.

The 30 days will include:

  • 1-1 Counseling with licensed, Christian counselors
  • Group Counseling
  • Foundations Class (daily Biblically-based teaching)
  • Art Therapy
  • Cooking Class (a fun way for the men to spend their free time!)
  • Structured, monitored time for personal reflection
  • Residential Coordinator support (men who live at the facility and walk through life with the residents)
  • Group Exercise (access to the Weights & Wellness Room)

At the end of the 30 Day Foundation:

We want each man to reflect on all they learned during the 30 Day Foundation. After 30 days of sobriety, our hope is that they recognize that they still have much to learn in order to achieve long-term success and lasting transformation. We will encourage each man to continue for the remaining 11 months where they will learn and develop practical life skills, build community, restore broken relationships, and begin to assimilate back into the workforce working real jobs in the community. During the final months, we will help prepare each man individually for life outside of Restore Addiction Recovery, ensuring they have the necessary tools needed for lasting sobriety.

If You Are Currently Earning Disability...

We are a working ministry, so any man currently earning disability must be willing to relinquish it, because legally he cannot simultaneously work for Restore Addiction Recovery and stay on disability.

The maximum hours someone can work a week while on disability is 20 hrs/week, and while in the final months of our program, men are expected to work from 20-40 hrs/week.

If You Are Currently Paying Child Support...

You will need either:
1) A written response from your case manager stating that payments may be placed on hold or deferred until your completion of the 12 months of treatment
OR
2) Written communication from a friend or family member who will be paying the child support payment for the duration of your time in the ministry

If You Have An Active Warrant...

• All probation/parole appointments must be non-reporting or phone-reporting (not in person); no scheduled upcoming criminal court dates or future criminal indictments.
• We will consider allowing a man with open traffic issues or outstanding fines to enter Restore Addiction Recovery, provided he is not required to attend a court appearance during the first 30 days of treatment. If any fines may result in a warrant for arrest, we will need written agreement from a friend or family member that they will take care of the fine.
