Our History
2017
In 2017, a father and a pastor recognized the need for a more effective response to the addiction crisis. They envisioned a place where addiction could be holistically treated, focusing on long-term, residential care. Their mission was centered on each individual man, prioritizing personal transformation over funding. They sought to develop a recovery model that guides men from addiction to freedom in Christ and thus, Restore Addiction Recovery was created.
2018
Preparation began to design and build a brand new facility that would feel like a home rather than an institution or a hospital. The county donated 18 acres of beautiful, private property just south of Akron, Ohio.
2019
With the love, support, and commitment from all of our construction partners, our building was completed and ready to open.
2020
Our 15,000 sq/ft, 60-bed facility opened to men struggling with drug and/or alcohol addiction with a deep desire to change.
Today
Restore Addiction Recovery offers a long-term, residential addiction treatment and recovery program that is Christ-centered, Biblically-based, and clinicially-supported to transform the lives of those struggling with drug and/or alcohol addiction.
