Our Approach

A Different Approach To Recovery

We believe that finding a faith-based, clinically-supported, and affordable addiction recovery program is difficult. Restore Addiction Recovery was developed to address the increasing substance abuse crisis and provides a solution that can change lives. We want to help each man find lifelong recovery. We know that lasting transformation is possible through Jesus Christ. Our faith-based approach is the foundation of our program, as we believe that finding a unique purpose in Jesus Christ is a critical step to recovery.

Another way we are unique from traditional recovery models is our long-term approach. Research has shown that many who struggle with acute addiction require at least three to six months to establish new learning processes and thinking skills. Furthermore, depending on the severity and length of their addiction, many require more than just rehabilitation. They also need habilitation, meaning the introduction to basic life skills necessary for daily functioning. This outcome is virtually impossible to achieve in one to three months, and very difficult even with a six-month program.

Our 12-month program provides not only time for the body and brain to begin to heal, but time to develop and apply new thinking and behavior patterns necessary for a successful sober life. Our focus and effort is placed on life after treatment, which includes a well-paying job, safe place to live, an emphasis on staying in healthy community, and a strong support system for long-term accountability. We want to restore men and their families back to a meaningful life, free from addiction, and filled with new purpose. Every man in our program receives loving, individualized care.

What Makes Us Unique

Full continuum of connected care in one location

Full continuum of connected care in one location

12 months of integrated services, practical life coaching, building healthy community, and providing mentorships — all under the loving care of trained coordinators and licensed counselors.

Operational Model

individualized care

We see every man in our program as unique and focus their care according to their specific needs. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to addiction recovery. Men benefit from 1-1 counseling, mentorship, and financial coaching. In addition, we personally help each man prepare for life outside of our walls upon leaving and follow up even after they have left.

Outcome Driven

The four core objectives are relationship restoration, development of vocational skills in real jobs leading to full-time employment, securing a safe place to live that fosters healthy community, and involvement in supportive aftercare for continued growth. Our goal is to prepare each man for life outside of our doors so they can flourish in the "real world" upon graduating.

Collaborative Workforce Development Program

Collaborative Community Partner Program

Partnering with local businesses to fill needed jobs while providing supervised, real-life training and work experience for the men in the program - all while substantially lowering operating costs. This Community Partner Program allows Restore Addiction Recovery to be free for the residents. Read more details here.

Operational Model

Through the Community Partner Program, the participants pay for a significant portion of their costs, allowing Restore Addiction Recovery to operate at a fraction of the cost of other recovery programs. We believe we have a model that can be replicated across the country, and our goal is to assist in the development of more locations in the coming years.

"There is a way out if you want it. Believing in God only got me so far. Change came when I started trusting in God and His plan."

Although the men provide about 65% of the funds needed for their stay through our Community Partner Program, we depend on generous individuals, churches, and businesses to provide the rest.  Your support will go towards the men in the program and help provide basic living needs, curriculum materials, and other recovery needs.
